About The Position

About the Practice Our practice serves the community by providing comprehensive care for those diagnosed with general and oncological urology conditions. The urology providers include a team of 14 physicians and 14 advanced practice providers. The clinical team is comprised of registered nurses, medical assistants, and ambulatory clinical clerical technicians with encouragement to work at the top of their certification or licensure. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role. The team members deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider; they also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services. They will perform rooming, point of care testing, procedural setup and assistance, chart prep, bedside reprocessing prep, patient messaging, room stocking, and catheterizations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience Preferred
  • 2 years of clinical care experience Preferred
