Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current State License as a Registered Nurse
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment
• 2 years of experience in the office/clinic or similar office/clinic

Nice To Haves

• Certification in area of specialty ACLS; PALS
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems
• Excellent customer service skills as demonstrated in past work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Champion nursing care standards and support the needs of the practice while aligning policy and competency.
• Oversee and direct the work of the clinical care team.
• Precept new care team members and provide direct patient care.
• Lead by example and demonstrate accountability for ensuring safe, high quality patient care.
• Enhance the patient and family experience.
• Provide effective leadership that contributes to OSF Mission, Vision and Values.
• Determine work priorities and assist with resolving operational and patient care needs.
