We are looking for team members to support our growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in our Surgery Center(s). We have a fast-paced multi-specialty Surgical Center. Our team is looking for candidates with a positive outlook and ability to work well on a team. The Ambulatory Aide position is responsible for patient care under the supervision of the nursing staff. Primary responsibilities include transporting patients, maintaining the equipment and supplies in readiness for patient care. Orders and stocks supplies necessary for the daily functioning of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The Ambulatory Aide serves as a resource for department nursing staff, allied health departments, medical staff, patients, and visitors by assisting with patient care coordination, providing information, giving direction, securing assistance and resources, and troubleshooting. This is done in a manner, which reflects the vision, mission, and philosophy of nursing and Park Nicollet Health Services. The Ambulatory Aide is expected to provide exceptional customer service. This job provides an excellent opportunity to learn about surgery and ideal for someone who is pursuing a career in healthcare. This position will crossover between frontline duties and supporting the nursing team with hands on patient care.
