About The Position

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Ambulance Night Dispatchers to coordinate emergency and non-emergency ambulance services during overnight hours. This role is critical to ensuring timely response, accurate communication, and exceptional service to our patients and partner agencies. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE AMBULANCE, 911 DISPATCH OR EMT EXPERIENCE. Wages ranging from $29.00 (based on previous Ambulance dispatch experience) and more. Slightly lower pay for dispatchers with no experience. 11 hour shifts with OT paid after 8 hours. Premier pays daily overtime for all hours worked over 8-hours on any given day and yes, your meal period is paid for!

Requirements

• Prior dispatch experience (1 year- ambulance, EMS, or public safety preferred)
• Strong multitasking and decision making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must be dependable and punctual for overnight shifts
• High school diploma or GED
• Must have or obtain a valid EMDR certification or EMT license
• Strong computer skills (1 year typing preferred)

Responsibilities

• Dispatch ambulances efficiently using CAD/dispatch systems
• Answer high-volume emergency and non-emergency calls professionally
• Communicate clearly with EMTs, paramedics, hospitals and staff
• Track unit status and ensure accurate documentation
• Prioritize calls based on urgency and protocols
• Maintain clam, clear communication in high pressure situations
• Follow company policies, HIPAA, and safety regulations
