The Guest Services Ambassador is responsible for ensuring that guests have the proper credentials to enter a venue, giving accurate directions, assisting with online redemption, answering questions accurately, up-selling our Mountain Membership, annual passes, as well as handing out materials such as maps to guests and doing so in an enthusiastic and friendly manner.

  • Assist in setting up check points in SMP Crossroads using traffic barricades and signage.
  • Smile and treat guests with friendliness and respect.
  • Manage and control capacity.
  • Manage crowd by way of utilizing the kiosk building.
  • Assist with online ticket redemption.
  • Give directions to guests.
  • Close area following proper procedures.
  • Provide guests with quick and accurate information regarding the event and the Park in general when requested or as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment. This may include sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, or otherwise keeping your area in proper order.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Must understand, read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers.
  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and sense of appropriateness to converse with employees and guests.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers or employees.
  • Must be able to stand on your feet long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions i.e., hot environments, cold environments, rain, wind.
  • Some high school education preferred.
  • Employment at Stone Mountain Park is contingent on the completion of a criminal background check and a drug screen, with the results being negative.
  • Stone Mountain Park employees are subject to pre-employment, post injury, post accident, reasonable suspicion and random testing for illegal drug usage.
