About The Position

Provide patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions are considered. Manage inventory and technician staff to provide excellent customer service. Must be available to work in any of the Ambulatory Retail Pharmacies if needed. Requirements

  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • This position also requires teamwork, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to communicate and be understood in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacy Experience preferred.
  • PharmD or BS from College of Pharmacy with eligibility to be licensed in KY.
