About the position
As an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the logistics process by sorting, scanning, and stacking packages to prepare customer orders for delivery. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to choose shifts that best fit your lifestyle while working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort inventory
- Get customer orders ready for delivery
- Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
Requirements
- Less than High School education
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Familiarity with technology such as scanners and computers
