  • Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, integration, and commissioning of Amazon Robotics equipment in new and existing fulfillment centers.
  • Work with a team of 1-5 engineers and collaborate with an on-site project manager.
  • Provide technical oversight on the installation of both third party and Amazon designed robotics equipment.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including third-party installers, contracted engineers, construction, hardware, software, IT, and other partner teams.
  • Demonstrate independent initiative to identify and solve problems in real time during deployments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to avoid recurrences.
  • Lead the development of process documentation and modify existing processes.
  • Capture lessons learned and drive technical continuous improvement projects.
  • Oversee and resolve escalations during robotics deployment including quality hand-off, live order testing, site acceptance testing, operational readiness testing, and monitoring robotics system performance.
  • Deliver projects by owning key KPIs around on-time delivery, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Currently working towards Bachelor’s or Masters Degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Masters, or PhD program that is physically located in the United States.
  • Must have at least one semester/term/quarter of school left to complete after the end of the co-op.
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) co-op during the 6-month co-op duration.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and/or CAD models to resolve on-site clash issues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot robotics systems to resolve escalations.
  • Willingness to work primarily in a construction or warehouse environment in a field-based role and travel extensively across the US and potentially internationally.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a field engineering, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience working on hardware integration or complex mechanical-electrical or networked industrial equipment.
  • Ability to demonstrate past use of data to drive decision making processes.
  • Practical understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP).
  • Knowledge of robot specific experience (Fanuc, ABB), Allen Bradley PLC experience, C++, Python, Java, etc.
