About The Position

Distinctivs Party is hiring a full-time Amazon Catalog & Listing Expert to take ownership of our U.S. Amazon marketplace catalog. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who understands Amazon Seller Central deeply, not just how it’s supposed to work, but how it actually behaves. You’ll be responsible for keeping our catalog clean, compliant, stable, and continuously improving over time. If you enjoy solving complex catalog issues, working confidently with flat files, and owning outcomes end to end, this role offers meaningful responsibility and long-term opportunity.

Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience managing Amazon catalogs in the U.S. marketplace
  • Strong experience with Amazon flat files (required)
  • Deep understanding of variation themes, product types, and review attribution
  • Experience creating and optimizing A+ Content
  • Experience using Helium 10 and/or DataDive
  • Strong knowledge of Seller Central backend behavior
  • Experience independently resolving catalog issues and working with Seller Support
  • Comfort taking full ownership in a lean, founder-led environment
  • Clear written English communication skills
  • Professional references that can verify Amazon catalog and listing experience
  • Stable, high-speed internet suitable for daily Seller Central work
  • A private, dependable work environment
  • Availability during U.S. business hours
  • Comfort working independently with clear accountability

Responsibilities

  • Amazon Catalog & Technical Ownership
  • Create, fix, and restructure parent–child variations
  • Diagnose and correct mismatched product types and category assignments
  • Launch new ASINs and SKUs from scratch
  • Upload, edit, and troubleshoot Amazon flat files (core responsibility)
  • Resolve listing suppressions, conflicts, attribute errors, and policy flags
  • Address browse node, category, and classification issues
  • Monitor and respond to Amazon account notifications and catalog warnings
  • Open, manage, and escalate Seller Support cases with clear documentation
  • In short: when something breaks in the catalog, you know how to diagnose it, fix it correctly, and prevent it from happening again.
  • Listing Optimization, Copy & A+ Content
  • Write and refine product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend attributes
  • Create, update, and optimize A+ Content (including Brand Story modules)
  • Ensure listings and A+ Content are compliant, clear, and conversion-focused
  • Use tools such as Helium 10 and DataDive to continuously improve existing listings
  • Maintain consistency across parent/child variations, listings, and A+ modules
  • Refresh content as performance data, search trends, or catalog changes require
