About The Position

The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiatrist to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Department. Requirements

• Excellent general physiatrist evaluation and management skills.
• Experience in general outpatient neurorehabilitation.
• Interest in performing peripheral joint injections, trigger point injections, electromyography, and botulinum toxin injection.
• Specialty training, fellowship completion, or additional board certifications are desired.

Nice To Haves

• Expertise in inpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience in TBI clinics.
• Experience in pain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide general physiatrist evaluation and management skills.
• Collaborate with other physiatrists in the practice group.
• Perform outpatient neurorehabilitation including peripheral joint injections, trigger point injections, electromyography, and botulinum toxin injection.
• Direct coordinated referrals for Physical and Occupational therapy, Chiropractic care, and complementary and alternative treatment modalities.
• Engage in specialized areas such as inpatient rehabilitation, TBI clinics, and pain management.
