As an Amada CNC Turret Punch Technician, you’ll be the steady hand behind reliable setup, operation, and upkeep of our turret systems. A Day in the Life Kickoff: You start by checking safety conditions and organizing your work area — a clean, orderly space sets the tone for safe, precise work. Set & Run: You prepare and operate Amada turret equipment, dialing in configurations to achieve optimal performance and consistent quality. Fix & Improve: When alarms pop or parts drift from spec, you troubleshoot, diagnose root causes, and implement effective, lasting fixes. Protect Uptime: You conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborate: You partner with teammates, sharing observations that streamline processes and boost overall efficiency. Record: You document activities — setups, repairs, and inspections — maintaining accurate, useful maintenance histories. Coach: You help train new technicians, passing along tips and best practices to lift the whole team. What You’ll Bring High school diploma or equivalent; a related technical degree or certification is preferred. Hands-on experience with turret equipment (Amada experience strongly valued) in a technician or similar role. Solid mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting ability. Comfort with turret systems and related production machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Clear communicator who thrives in a team-focused environment.
