Summary: As an AM Server at Tavernonna, you set the tone for the guest experience. You’ll provide attentive, efficient breakfast service while maintaining a welcoming and unhurried atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage both early-morning pace and guest expectations with grace.

Requirements

  • Prior breakfast or daytime serving experience preferred
  • Strong guest service skills with a warm, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a steady-paced breakfast environment
  • Professional appearance and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required food and beverage certifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, attentive breakfast service in a relaxed morning environment
  • Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression to start their day
  • Guide guests through breakfast menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve items safely and efficiently
  • Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, including refills and special requests
  • Process checks and payments accurately in accordance with company policies
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, glassware, silverware, and service areas throughout service
  • Prepare your station prior to opening, maintain it during service, and break it down at shift end
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and support staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Report tips accurately in compliance with IRS and company guidelines
  • Maintain a professional, calm, and positive attitude with guests and coworkers
  • Assist with side work and additional tasks as assigned
