Peoria's Youth Programs provide before and after school programs licensed by the Department of Health Services, offered at Peoria Unified School District Elementary campuses for students ages 5-14. This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare provider to collaborate with school personnel to develop a growing program. This can be accomplished by assisting the Recreation Leader I and Recreation Leader II positions with supervising and monitoring of the children and actively participating with them through play and staff led enrichment, such as literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects.
