About The Position

The Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking and processing customer orders, putting away stock to pick locations, and performing cycle counts as needed. This role involves the use of scanners, barcode readers, and interaction with autonomous mobile robots (AMR) to ensure efficient workflow in the warehouse.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and understand pick ticket labels, work orders, and shipping documents
Experience operating scanners and tablet technology
Strong counting skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Team-oriented with the ability to contribute to a positive team environment

Nice To Haves

Cross-trained in the Packing Department is preferred

Responsibilities

Works in designated warehouse area as assigned by supervisor
Reads and understands pick ticket labels, work orders, and other shipping-related documents
Operates a scanner to read barcodes, process, and fill customer orders
Travels safely and efficiently to assigned locations, selects products as instructed, and verifies customer orders
Sorts and replenishes stock returned from customers and replenishment cartons
Monitors cartons diverted to QA areas and compiles QA findings for incorrect picks on error reports
Packs orders in the Packaging Department based on workflow needs
Participates in slotting product into designated pick zones per UPC instruction when necessary
Uses manual or powered jacks to move pallets to designated staging areas
Attaches labels (LPN) to cartons without appropriate barcoded branding
Unloads cartons and assembles pallets for shipment
Performs cycle counts and enters correct information into the AMR system as prompted
Keeps work area clean and organized daily
Other duties as required
