About The Position

The AM Line Cook is responsible for opening the kitchen, executing breakfast and lunch service, and completing daily prep to support afternoon and evening operations. This role sets the foundation for the day’s success through organization, preparation, and consistency.

Requirements

  • Food safety certification
  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
  • Push, pull or lift up to 40 pounds
  • Continuous repetitive motions
  • Work in occasional hot environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute breakfast and lunch menu items to Chef’s specifications
  • Complete daily prep lists to support PM service
  • Set up and stock all stations for service
  • Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily production and prep
  • Open kitchen and ensure stations are fully set and operational
  • Prepare ingredients (chopping, butchering, sauces, etc.) for service and PM shift
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff during service
  • Maintain proper food handling, labeling, and dating standards
  • Ensure timely and consistent plate presentation
  • Clean and organize stations throughout and after service
  • Communicate clearly with chefs and team members regarding prep levels
  • Assist with inventory stocking and rotation (FIFO)
  • Maintain sanitation, safety, and food quality standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and members
  • Strong focus on prep production and organization
  • Ability to anticipate needs for later shifts
  • Leave station fully stocked and clean for PM team
