About The Position

Overview Opportunity: Seasonal AM Food Runner (May 1st 2026 - October 31st 2026) We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Food Runner to join the team at Rowes Wharf Sea Grille, located in the prestigious Boston Harbor Hotel—Boston’s only Forbes Five-Star waterfront hotel. The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role supports the service team in maintaining a Five-Star standard by upholding cleanliness, presentation, and timing in every aspect of food delivery. CANDIDATE PROFILE This is a full-time role, candidates must have flexible availability to fulfill this role.

Requirements

  • Must have at least (1) or more years of experience in a Full-Service Restaurant, with a combination of previous Food & Beverage experience in a Luxury Environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service-ware.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Require good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess basic computational ability.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs + on a regular and continuous basis.
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • A second language is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that food presentation meets restaurant standards and confirm order accuracy before delivery.
  • Assist servers and kitchen staff with coordination and communication to ensure high-quality service.
  • Support table setup and clearing between courses or after meals as needed.
  • Refill water, bread, and condiments throughout the guest’s dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and the expo line.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a service-first attitude at all times.
