About The Position

As the AM MClub Concierge Lounge Attendant you will join our morning Guest Services team to provide exceptional guest service to our VIP rewards members. This is a Part-Time position, working three days a week, with the flexibility to work additional mornings when needed to meet business demands. The ideal candidate uses an engaging personality to create a welcoming environment in the Marriott VIP M-Club Concierge Lounge to deliver premium service by serving food and beverages, maintaining lounge cleanliness, and anticipating guest needs to ensure a memorable experience. In addition, the candidate who fills this role will also work AM shifts in the Retail Gift Shop as needed. Must be available to work various mornings, 5:30 AM - 1:00 PM, weekdays and weekends, including holidays. Requirements

  • Must be available to work mornings, 5:30 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong desire to make a memorable experience with every guest interaction.
  • Ability to work well in a team and handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism.
  • Knowledge of the local area and ability to stay up to date on current city happenings.
  • Able to easily adapt to unexpected changes and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Moves food, equipment, and tubs weighing up to 25 lbs. regularly.
  • Transport food and supplies from storerooms and kitchen areas to concierge lounge throughout shift as required.
  • Moves throughout hotel lobby and kitchen areas, including frequent and repeated climbing up and down stairs, for duration of shift.
  • Capable of remaining in a standing position, either stationary or walking, for duration of shift.
  • Capable of frequent and repeated lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and extending arms fully.
  • Ability to observe and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company guidelines for food handling, cross-contamination protocols, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge VIP guests, assist with guest needs, address concerns, offer recommendations, and ensure comfort.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and creating a memorable experience for loyal guest.
  • Remain well-informed about local dining, shopping, and attractions to provide accurate and helpful information to guests.
  • Prepare and serve beverages (hot, cold, alcoholic), set up buffets/bars, manage food inventory, and communicate needs to the kitchen.
  • Keep the lounge, tables, and general area clean; clearing tables and taking out trash from lounge and kitchen prep areas.
  • Stock fruit, snacks, drinks, and supplies.
  • Breakdown and clean up of buffet line, including clearing the service area, washing all food items, chafing dishes, utensils, pots/pans and separate and store items.
  • Follow Marriott standards, maintain professional appearance.
  • Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
  • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments as needed.
