Requirements

Education: High school diploma/GED
Years of Experience: 0
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and diagrams, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or disassemble objects in close working proximity.
The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
Must be able to Sandblast – 60lbs of pressure on upper extremities

Responsibilities

Interpret work orders, production routers, BOM, product manuals and/ or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Disassemble electronic/mechanical assemblies.
Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.
Understand and comply with ISO9001 requirements.
Operate production equipment used in the disassembly of printed circuit boards.
Manually position and align components in specified relationship to each other with or without jig, fixture or other holding device.
Perform go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and components meet production specifications and standards.
Ability to utilize hand tools to perform disassembly functions (ex. Screw drivers, measuring devices, adjustable end wrench, torque drivers, grinders.)
Must be willing to be moved into various work areas in order to meet production requirements or where skills best serve department and company goals.
Label product according to standards.
Must be willing to work overtime periods including weekends to meet production demands.
Participation in team huddles, group projects and one on one communications.
Sandblasting for hour increments
Proficient in the use and understanding of measurements on a ruler.
