About The Position

Life Protect 24/7 is searching for self-motivated, Custodial Supervisor to lead our team, ensure high-quality cleaning standards, and provide ongoing employee training and support. This role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and strong organizational skills to maintain a well-functioning custodial operation.

Supervising and management experience

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive training for all new custodial employees.
Provide ongoing support and training during PM shifts, especially regarding supplies, chemicals, and procedures.
Perform quality control (QC) checks on both AM and PM custodial shifts.
Work alongside the custodial team daily, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep through active, hands-on leadership.
Address cleaning-related concerns independently before escalating to upper management.
Handle non-emergency issues on-site and report them in weekly check-ins without unnecessary disruptions.
Cover lunch breaks and arrange shift coverage when needed.
Manage leave requests and call-outs, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed.
Ensure AM staff arrive on time and complete their designated shifts.
Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.
Maintain confidentiality and handle disciplinary matters privately.
Schedule meetings with upper management for non-emergency concerns requiring their input.
Actively work with custodial staff, fostering teamwork and shared accountability.
Oversee supply inventory and ordering, with minimal assistance from maintenance staff (except for large deliveries or in cases of absence).
Ensure all cleaning supplies and laundry operations are well-managed and fully stocked.
