The AM Buffet Attendant provides efficient assistance to the server staff with high levels of guest service. This role involves clearing dishes, expediting food items, polishing glassware, and resetting tables. The attendant is responsible for transporting serving pans of hot and cold food items from the kitchen and expertly arranging them on the buffet line to ensure an appealing presentation and easy guest access. Additionally, the attendant diligently monitors and maintains the buffet line, ensuring all food item pans are consistently full, clean, and attractive during meal sessions, while regularly checking and regulating food temperatures to uphold food safety standards. Excellent guest relations and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
