About The Position
This part-time job (25 hrs/week) entails helping to produce two-and-a-half-hour weekday morning newscasts and learning the producer's role sufficiently to serve as a fill-in for that position. There are also opportunities to fill in during other shifts. The job also requires posting materials to social media and the station website.
Requirements
- Educational background in electronic mass media/journalism or related discipline
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
Responsibilities
- Editing video for air and website
- Sending materials to newscast rundowns
- Timing newscasts
- Assisting with studio prep
- Posting materials to the website and social media
