The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting. Duties include monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrol of applicable interior and/or exterior areas. The position requires good interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. The officer must be able to walk long distances, sit or stand for long periods, and kneel or bend to look into tight spaces.
