Impact of the Role Set up and operate die casting equipment to produce quality parts reliably and efficiently. Verify die condition and perform visual inspection of parts throughout production. Execute die changes and make on-machine adjustments to achieve spec and throughput. Configure and support auxiliary systems—ladle, auto-spray, robotics, trim press—to stabilize the process. Follow gauging/inspection procedures at defined intervals; document results. Work from Process Sheets and verbal direction; assist maintenance with corrective work as requested. Have setups checked by a Supervisor or Group Leader prior to running.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a die casting environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret simple drawings; effective communicator.
  • Comfort taking verbal instruction from leadership and collaborating cross-functionally.
