The Educational Service Center of Medina County provides both in-person and online educational programs for students who are more successful in an alternative educational setting. We utilize a combination of online curriculum and staff-created workbooks and provide one-on-one instruction and support for students to ensure they successfully complete their graduation requirements. Alternative School Teachers report to the SUPERVISOR and are responsible for scheduling of staff and students, maintaining required education records including grades and attendance, creating and providing progress reports to home school district and parents, providing administrative support and leadership to alternative school staff, providing instruction and instructional support to students, planning and implementing training for staff, coordinating with transportation departments, and maintaining a productive and conducive learning environment in the classroom.
