About The Position

We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district consists of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, one high school for grades 9-12, and one alternative learning program for grades 9-12. Position Overview & Responsibilities Responsible for preparing lessons, instructing students with a wide range of abilities, assessing student learning, collecting and analyzing student data to plan instruction, creating an engaging and respectful classroom environment, communicating with students, parent and multiple stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, supervising students, participating in school improvement initiatives and learning professionally. Teachers teach a variety of subjects through a Cross-Curricular Delivery Program/Plan and/or Out-of-Field Placement. This position may be called upon to teach multiple subjects, but requires an underlying Minnesota teaching licensure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota
