Bank of America Merrill Alternative Investments is seeking an experienced sales professional to join its Alternative Investments Specialist organization. Responsible for driving distribution, advisor engagement, and client adoption of private equity, private credit, and real asset solutions, while supporting existing client assets and prospecting UHNW and institutional investors across Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of financial services product and/or sales experience
  • Direct experience and expertise in alternative investment products, specifically with Private Equity, Credit & Real Estate
  • Extensive regional travel capability, 50-60%
  • Hold or attain Series 7 and 66 licenses within 120 days of hire
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing or Business

  • MBA, CFA, CAIA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep expertise in Bank of America’s portfolio construction framework for alternative investments.
  • Construct customized portfolio recommendations for our largest, most sophisticated clients.
  • Evaluate private market strategies and solutions in consultation with Origination and Due Diligence.
  • Create strategic business plans in coordination with local leadership and regional specialists.
  • Improve Advisor experience by working across functional groups including product, operations, marketing, legal, risk, and compliance.
  • Monitor macroeconomic and market trends impacting alternative investments to educate advisors and clients on performance drivers and diversification benefits.
