About The Position

The position of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Manager at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is primarily responsible for developing and implementing ADR and conflict management techniques across the agency. The incumbent will manage the ADR program, provide training, and serve as a liaison with management to address ADR matters, ultimately aiming to resolve disputes early and save costs for the DEA.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Incumbent is subject to random drug testing.
• At least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to work performed at the GS-13 grade level.
• Experience conducting research, litigation, and judicial review on ADR cases.
• Experience investigating complex charges involving multiple issues and parties.
• Experience addressing and recommending solutions to serious compliance problems.
• Experience facilitating training sessions that support an ADR program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the DEA technical authority to implement long-range and short-range planning guidance in accordance with federal regulations for EEO and non-EEO matters.
• Plan, develop, and manage the ADR program for the DEA, nationally and internationally.
• Resolve disputes at an early stage to save DEA significant funds.
• Provide training and communicate conflict management principles agency-wide.
• Analyze and evaluate conflicts and issues that affect substantive, mission-oriented programs of the DEA.
• Represent the EEO Officer in meetings, conferences, and public appearances with senior Departmental Officials and other stakeholders.
