About The Position

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Director is responsible for directing and managing mediation and arbitration services within the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in St. Lucie, Florida. This role involves supervising staff and contract mediators, implementing policies and procedures, conducting training, and overseeing mediation and arbitration services. The director will also manage the budget, serve as a departmental liaison, and perform various administrative functions, including data compilation and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, social work, legal studies, or a closely related field.
• Five years of related work experience, including two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Florida Supreme Court certification in county and family mediation is required.
• Florida Supreme Court certification in dependency mediation is preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage mediation and arbitration services.
• Supervise staff and contract mediators.
• Implement policies and procedures for mediation and arbitration.
