About The Position

The Alternate Contract Program Security Officer responsibilities include developing, administering, and auditing security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data. This role involves executing security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies and performing in leadership roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP). The officer will serve as the Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), studying and implementing federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (DoDM 5205.07) (ICDs). The position requires close collaboration with U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and security rulings or deviations. Additionally, the officer will manage the quality, schedule, and cost expectations associated with program development and execution while ensuring compliance with fundamental security requirements defined by the customer and company. Responsibilities also include ensuring the construction of SAPF projects is completed in accordance with ICD 705 and customer guidance, managing all aspects of security including DD-254, personnel, physical, technical, classification management, and customer engagements, preparing implementation manuals, conducting security education classes, investigating security violations, and processing clearances and customer visits.
