What We Do The Alternate Business Line Continuity Officer (Alt-BLCO) supports the enterprise Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program by assisting with planning, communication, testing, and recovery activities for a Division. This role ensures continuity of critical operations during disruptions and assumes full Business Line Continuity responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of related experience
• Train and work toward BCM certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated; self-starter
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support annual Business Continuity Management Program activities and objectives as directed by the Business Continuity Officer (BLCO).
• Coordinate communication during potential business interruptions
• Assist with operational recovery efforts
• Serve as Alt-BLCO designee during incidents
• Participate in governance, training, and testing activities
• Other duties as assigned
