Part-time Alterations Specialist (17.5 hours/week)
About The Position
This Part-time Alterations Specialist position at BYU Alterations is responsible for completing customer clothing fitting, alterations, and mending. Once fully trained, the role involves learning from and following instructions of supervisors and managers, analyzing clothing fit to make alteration decisions, and communicating effectively with customers, managers, and coworkers. The specialist will utilize a computer program for order timelines and payments, understand and operate all sewing room machines, complete high-quality alterations and mending, and assist in training, advising, and collaborating with other employees.
Requirements

- Basic Math Knowledge (Fractions)
Responsibilities
- Learn from and follow instructions of supervisor and managers.
- Analyze the fit of clothing and make decisions about alterations.

- Understand the use of all machines in the sewing room.
