The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a critical role for the successful operation of the Alterations department, contributing to superior customer service. The CSR is responsible for providing an A+ customer experience to David’s Bridal customers. This role involves welcoming and servicing customers, making appointments, answering phones, pressing garments, and ensuring items are ready for pickups. The CSR manages customer flow to deliver a five-star experience, meets service vows, proactively addresses customer concerns, and knows when to escalate issues to the leadership team. They effectively communicate the importance of alterations, promote all alterations services and personalization options, and maintain store standards for cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness. Additionally, the CSR supports inventory management by processing special orders and pick-ups, handles cash wrap transactions accurately, and maintains a clean alterations room. The position reports to the Store Manager.
