The Bloomingdale's Alteration Support Professional is essential to the store's daily operations, ensuring a unique shopping experience through quality alterations and customer service. This role involves performing various garment alterations and repairs while maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Sew garments and perform basic to advanced level alterations on various parts of garments including sleeves, backs, sides, collars, and bodices.
Conduct minor repairs and replace buttons as needed.
Present a pleasant and knowledgeable attitude to customers.
Provide detailed information about alteration services and respond to customer inquiries.
Deliver quality work on time, meeting customer specifications to reduce waste and achieve profitability.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of direct experience in alterations or a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
