About The Position

The Allred is a newly opened, 102-room hotel offering a relaxed, upscale experience. At its heart is the Allred’s Bites + Bar - a vibrant lobby and mezzanine space that serves as both the hotel lobby, and a unique dining destination. You will be a part of a hospitality experience that will set a new standard for elegant approachability in the region. Allred guests will have an unforgettable Oregon Coast experience with relaxed, upscale guestrooms, considered amenities, and exceptional service - along with magnificent ocean views. We are seeking friendly, dynamic, and experienced hospitality professionals to join our team and help elevate our guests’ and employees’ experiences to new heights. The Barista/Cashier is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. The Barista also serves as the cashier for the Bites + Bar and will take in-room dining orders over the phone.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year barista experience
  • Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be 18 years old or older

Responsibilities

  • Create remarkable experiences for our colleagues and guests
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
  • Provide friendly, efficient and personalized customer service, ensuring guests have a positive experience
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment while maintaining proper calibration and cleanliness
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage quality and compliance with sanitation standards
  • Stay knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients
  • Work as part of a team to support daily operations, including opening and closing duties, restocking supplies and assisting coworkers when needed
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Other duties as assigned
