Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for an Alloy Saw Operator to join our
team in Oxford, AL.

Operator must use alloy metal saw, grinder, and welder to ensure ingot is at
specifications according to work instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Handle metal parts ranging from 10 lbs. to 150 lbs.
• Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required.
• Prolonged standing is required.
• Work is repetitive in nature; therefore, close attention to detail is required.
• Operator must focus on each individual part and make decisions on what action should be taken.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred
• 1-3year related manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous experience using saw, grinder, and welding equipment preferred
• Knowledge of job splitting and alloy types preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle metal ingot ranging from 10 lbs. to 150 lbs.
• Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required.
• Prolonged standing is required.
• Work is repetitive in nature; therefore, close attention to detail is required.
• Operator must focus on each individual part and make decisions on what action should be taken.
• The employee must read the flow sheet, follow instructions written and oral production instructions. The employee must make sure all trees are together and match the required number shown on the flow sheet.
• Properly record in the electronic production tracking system (EPICOR) the progress and completion of jobs
• The employee must inspect and keep saw and grinder components clean of material build up.
• Employee must communicate between Mold Prep and Casting to ensure workflow is not impeded.
• Operator must use alloy metal saw, grinder, and welder.
