The Allocation Analyst at Finish Line is responsible for optimizing product distribution across stores to maximize sales. This role involves collaborating with buyers to allocate the right products in the right quantities and sizes, ensuring that each store has the best possible assortment. The analyst will also manage purchase orders, monitor sales metrics, and communicate with store management regarding product concerns.

  • Work with Buyers to determine the best stores to allocate product to.
  • Write new purchase orders, giving size breaks and recommending quantities to Buyers.
  • Ensure every store receives the best possible product assortment.
  • Allocate replenishment product based on sales history, WOS, margins, and capacity.
  • Check yard lists, picking, and record receipts.
  • Perform transfers and consolidations.
  • Set up new store assortments and execute remodeled store plans.
  • Communicate regularly with store management regarding product concerns and opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as required.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
  • 1 - 3 years of previous merchandising/allocation experience required.
  • Candidates with JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Google Suite software.
  • Competence in learning how to maximize the use of new software.
