The Allocation Analyst, Inventory Management is responsible for managing the allocation and replenishment of stock for North American stores, utilizing Blue Yonder Inventory Systems. This hybrid role requires the analyst to work on-site three days a week, focusing on maximizing stock utilization and achieving sales plans for both Fashion and Core products.

  • Build and update item/location eligibility by channel & location grade based on AP strategy and product life cycle.
  • Prepare hindsight data from previous seasons with analysis and recommendations.
  • Create and direct the allocation strategy for the area of responsibility in support of assortment plans.
  • Develop recommendations for in-season changes and pre-season assortment plans to maximize objectives.
  • Manage the timely delivery and allocation of new and replenished stock to ensure sales plans are achieved.
  • Utilize BY/DA to pre-allocate scheduled receipts of Fashion newness and push allocate stock as needed.
  • Review key parameters for Auto Allocation and edit Weeks of Sales, Weeks of Supply, and Seasonal Factor.
  • Set Allocation constraints in DA for Fulfilment.
  • Review Weekly DC on hand vs. demand need for Core/RPL product and communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Review and action system-generated exceptions for Core/RPL product as necessary.
  • Create Supplemental DC to Store transfers within BY Fulfilment as necessary.
  • Attend and participate in weekly departmental team meetings to review sales and stocks and suggest future product development.
  • Manage stocks based on sales performance focusing on In-stock/sell-thru and exception resolution.
  • Conduct monthly/seasonal hindsight reviews and plan for future seasons with analysis and recommendations.
  • Conduct store visits to understand customer experience and in-store merchandise presentations.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize allocation strategy and identify opportunities to maximize sales and margin.
  • Proficiency in BY SCPO (DA & Fulfillment applications).
  • Working knowledge of AS400.
