About The Position

Up to $4500 Hiring Bonus $35 and UP per hour, depending upon experience Day Shift M-F When you work with Clarke, you work with an industry leader! Our team is currently looking for an experienced Allison Transmission Technician- Diesel Truck Mechanic. What are the Duties?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Truck Transmission Repair · Inspect transmission, diagnose cause of non-conformance · Good computer skills · Good verbal communication · Assist other technicians when needed · Must be able to work independently
PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS · While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. · The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. · The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. · Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. · Must be able to obtain DOT medcard · The associate must be able to read and write reports.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE · Experience repairing Allison Transmissions · 2+ Years Experience required, 5+ years preferred · Preferred- certificate or degree from Technical School Diesel Program
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS · Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years. · No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI). · Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. · Valid driver's license, CDL is a plus. · ASE certifications a plus · Allison Certified is a plus Clarke Power has branches across the country! Requirements

• Experience repairing Allison Transmissions
• 2+ Years Experience required, 5+ years preferred
