Now hiring a Allied Health Student - Rehab Services (PT, PTA, SLP, OT, COTA) Summary: Are you a students currently pursuing education and/or certification/licensure in the following disciplines: Pulmonary , Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Rehab (Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Speech Therapist (SLP - must be Clinical Fellow Eligible) or Radiology: Radiographer (RT) CT Technician (CT) MRI Technician (MRI) Ultrasound Technician (ARDMS) Type of Opportunity: PRN Job Exempt: No Job is based : Presbyterian Hospital Work Shift: Varied Days and Hours (United States of America) Responsibilities: The Allied Health Student Stipend Program is designed to provide financial assistance to students in the final six months of their education, easing financial burdens and supporting your transition into the workforce. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Actively enrolled as a student in an accredited program for one of the aforementioned disciplines, preparing to meet all requirements for employment in one of the Allied Health jobs at Presbyterian. Must graduate within 6 months of being hired into the Allied Health Student role. Upon graduation, the student will transition through the hire right process into a licensed/certified Allied Health role at Presbyterian. All minimum requirements including specific licensure requirements of the Allied Health role must be met. Upon graduation, failure to obtain full licensure and be hired in one of the mentioned disciplines will result in an unfulfilled contract and termination as outlined in signed agreements. Respiratory must obtain NM Respiratory Care Practitioner license and the Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC within 60 days of hire. Rehab Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist graduates must obtain New Mexico Temporary license at time of hire and pass the board exam within 180 days of hire. Radiology -must obtain NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) License or Temporary license within 90 days of hire. ARRT R.T.(R) preferred Employee will have a period of 1 year to obtain ARRT certification. Requirements
