ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a Full -Time Allied Health Instructor to organize, administer, and provide continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of clinical experiences for x-ray students. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and maintains clinical affiliation agreements with a variety of clinical sites in order to provide clinical opportunities for students to practice the skills, knowledge, and behaviors necessary to provide age appropriate care, to a culturally diverse patient population, consistent with accreditation standards. Develops clinical course outlines, objectives and clinical evaluation tools that are consistent with accreditation requirements and college policy Coordinates clinical rotations for students in order to meet clinical requirements and accreditation guidelines Assesses clinical site efficiency utilizing feedback from clinical faculty, preceptors and students Provides didactic, laboratory and clinical instruction Provides feedback to students during all phases of their clinical education Serves as program liaison and mentor for each clinical site and for site preceptors and staff Maintains student records that are consistent with accreditation requirements and college policy Performs other related duties as required. DIRECTION / SUPERVISION OF OTHERS: Direct supervision of students in classroom, lab and/or clinical settings

Requirements

  • Holds, at a minimum, a Baccalaureate degree
  • Meets experience and credentialing requirements designated by accreditation agency
  • Holds professional certification or equivalent in the pertinent discipline
  • ARRT Certified
