SUNY Schenectady County Community College is seeking a part-time Allied Health Care Training Instructor. Reporting to the Project Director, the Allied Health Care Training Instructor will deliver the clinical and vocational component of a curriculum designed to assist students build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the licensing exam for Certified Nurse' Aide (C.N.A.), as well as become certified as a Home Health Aide (H.H.A.) and a Personal Care Assistant (P.C.A.). Teach classes and provide supervision of trainees during clinical training. Assist students in registering for the New York State C.N.A. licensing exam, and administer certifications for the H.H.A. on the New York State registry. The instructor must possess the ability to work with students from different socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. The instructor should have insight into students' current circumstances and goals. The Allied Health Care Training Instructor supervises trainees during clinical training.
