About The Position
We are a growing point-of-care diagnostic company providing allergy testing and immunotherapy services to primary care and specialty clinics. We are seeking a Part-Time Allergy Technician / Medical Assistant to support and manage in-clinic allergy programs. This is a great opportunity for a motivated clinical professional who enjoys patient interaction and working in a semi-autonomous environment.
Requirements
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Required)
- 1–2+ years of clinical experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Allergy experience a plus (not required)
- BLS Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform allergy skin prick and intradermal testing
- Administer immunotherapy injections
- Mix patient-specific allergy serum
- Educate patients on treatment plans and EpiPen use
- Verify insurance, referrals, and documentation
- Maintain inventory and clinic workflow
- Ensure accurate charting and HIPAA compliance
