About The Position

Allergy Technician / Allergy Treatment Coordinator – Virginia MedAllergy is seeking a skilled and motivated Allergy Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a dedicated medical professional who thrives in a semi-autonomous clinical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. MedAllergy LLC MedAllergy provides trained allergy staff, personnel training services and immunotherapy compounding to Otolaryngology and Primary Care practices nationwide. Based in Atlanta, MedAllergy was formed in 2012 and assists allergy practices to achieve better patient outcomes with its evidence based Aller-Gen system as well as easing compliance burdens by providing pharmacy prepared specific immunotherapy prescriptions. MedAllergy offers excellent health coverage, vacation, paid time-off and 401K to all full-time (30 hours per week) employees. Through our “Fused Practice” values, we strive to improve the patient experience and help our partner practices achieve the Gold Standard in allergy care. Requirements

  • Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or LPN
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Perform allergy skin prick and intradermal testing
  • Prepare and mix allergen immunotherapy vials
  • Administer weekly allergy injections in accordance with protocols
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure safety compliance
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and expectations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards
