About The Position

Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated Allergist/Clinical Immunologist physician to join our faculty. This full-time position offers a dynamic mix of clinical care, teaching, and research in a collaborative academic setting.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board certified or Board-eligible in Allergy, Immunology and Internal Medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in allergy and immunology (minimum 8 half-day clinics per week).
• Participate in consult services and provide care to patients with and without fellows-in training.
• Supervise and mentor fellows-in-training in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Provide educational activities- including giving periodic Medical Grand Rounds lectures to faculty, fellows, residents, and students.
• Participate in quarterly evaluations of fellows in training.
• Participate in quality initiatives and improvement projects.
• Participate with fellows in research opportunities or self-directed research.
• Comply promptly with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements.
• Engage in service responsibilities, including monthly attendance at faculty meetings and participating in University, School of Medicine, Departmental, or Section committee work.
• These responsibilities may vary from time to time and will be assigned by the Section Chief of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
