ANG is seeking an All Source Intelligence Analyst to support the Office of Special Investigations (OSI), as part of a cross-functional Department of the Air Force (DAF) team charged with developing, implementing, and overseeing the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) / Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Due Diligence process. This position is onsite at Quantico, VA.

  • Be an integral part of a Government and Contractor Team responsible for all source intelligence specialist support to 1 FIS, while collaborating with counterparts throughout the DoD, the IC, PPO, and other government agencies.
  • Perform analysis to identify patterns aiding in efforts to identify foreign and domestic intelligence entities and other adversarial threats to DAF High Risk Personnel and Protective Service Detachment (PSD) Teams, and other 1 FIS Detachments and missions.
  • Present findings to 1 FIS and Center and analysts, leadership and other OSI customers as appropriate, both orally and in writing.
  • Conduct long-term studies using a variety of statistical analysis to draw conclusions and estimate probabilities based upon knowledge of economic, geographic, social, and open source information from current and past situations associated with foreign intelligence threats to DAF and DOD.
  • Provide focused analysis in order to evaluate the significance of the information collected, extract and further disseminate relevant threat information, identify and refer investigative leads, provide assistance to 1 FIS SA, and coordinate actions within the law enforcement, IC, PPO communities, and other 1 FIS Detachments.
  • Identify trends and actions based on historical information and current research and analysis.
  • Provide informational briefings outlining findings to facilitate the DAF's efforts to prevent harm, embarrassment or threat to HRP and PSD Teams and other 1 FIS Detachments.
  • Identify access and threat vectors commonly exploited by foreign intelligence, or other adversaries, to target DAF HRP.
  • Produce, document, and publish analytical products via portal, SharePoint and other electronic methods for OSI Center leadership, OSI field units and DAF senior leadership.
  • Summarize work efforts, meetings, project statuses, and accomplishments in the form of a WAR.
  • Track/document all work tasks and analytical hours daily in an established production tracker.
  • Support collection efforts by providing initial intelligence report evaluations, source-directed requirements, and/or assisting with the development or update of strategic and ad hoc collection requirements in support of DAF technology protection efforts.
  • Gather and analyze all-source information from classified and open sources.
  • Research, collect and evaluate classified and OSINT information for intelligence value; request translation or interpretation support as required to support lead production/case support.
  • Provide assessments on potential vulnerabilities from current/evolving threats to national security, personnel, and resources.
  • Research foreign media outlets via open source portals to provide analysis/reports and make recommendations to strengthen analytic production.
  • Examine how to best integrate and use new and emerging threat intelligence and knowledge management software and systems.
  • Research, produce and coordinate intelligence summaries, intelligence reports, assessments; prepare and deliver intelligence briefings for internal and external audiences.
  • Attend analytic meetings and discussions to exchange and gather information/insight to issues of interest.
  • May be requested and required to participate in Proposal Support functions due to expertise.
  • At least five years of experience in analyzing intelligence and at least two years of experience in analyzing threats to personnel.
  • Associate's Degree related to International Relations, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Political Science, or Intelligence Analysis; or an equivalency of five years' experience as an all source intelligence analyst.
  • Knowledge of Joint-Publication (JP) 2-0.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD): 203, 205, 206, 211, and 731.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense Directives (DoDD): 5240.10 and 5240.02.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI): 5000.86, 5240.04, 5240.18, 5240.19, and 5240.24.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience supporting a counterintelligence unit is preferred.
  • Drug Free Workplace policy requiring pre-employment drug screening and random drug screens.
