STR is seeking an All-source Analyst and Modeling Engineer who has a passion for research and development of models of cyber physical systems. Work must be performed onsite.
Develop tools to help sift through large datasets to identify information relevant for modeling efforts.
Create system models from circuit diagrams, schematics, source code, signal processing algorithms, etc.
Work in multi-disciplinary teams to tackle challenging problems from a wide variety of technologies to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions.
Document, demonstrate, and present research.
Solve real world problems that have an impact on national security.
This position requires an Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by the U.S. Government.
Active CI poly or willingness to obtain one.
BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proficiency with modeling tools: SPICE, MATLAB.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C/C++, Python, etc.
General understanding of electrical engineering: Circuit and flow diagrams, signal processing chains, network traffic data.
Willing to travel frequently from an STR office to the customer location in MD, or spend the majority of time at customer location.
Advanced foreign language skills.
Experience with digital twin development.
Expertise in modeling signal processing algorithms, filter design, etc.
Embedded systems or firmware analysis experience.
Knowledge of reverse engineering techniques.
Analyzing protocols or message structures.
Knowledge of binary file structures and formats.
Developing automated reverse engineering or software analysis tools.
