About The Position

DAIRY CLERK Main responsibilities: Maintain a customer-focused environment and provide fast, friendly service. Assist customers with product suggestions and inquiries. Rotate and remove outdated or spoiled products; ensure shelves are clean and properly stocked. Implement effective promotional and seasonal displays. Ensure merchandise is correctly priced and displayed according to company standards. Control inventory levels to maintain product quality, freshness, and adequate stock. Perform receiving duties: break down loads, inspect quality, and stock products. Ensure compliance with temperature, labeling, and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, coolers, and equipment. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Soft skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently. Competencies: Problem-solving and decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and compliance with safety and quality standards. Knowledge: Basic math and understanding of weights and measures. Knowledge of product variety, perishability, handling, sanitation, and labeling standards. Familiarity with company policies and safety procedures. Abilities: Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lbs. Stand for long periods; bend, stoop, and reach frequently. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and powered lifts. Educational requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Travel requirements: Occasional travel may be required.
