About The Position

The Algorithm Engineer at KLA-Tencor Corporation is responsible for developing new algorithms for innovative inspection products. This role involves driving creative ideas, implementing proof of concepts, and evaluating new algorithms while providing technical expertise to support team members and customers. Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree with experience in Image Processing or Machine Learning, or equivalent work experience.
• Very strong experience with C++ coding.
• Academic experience in development in Image Processing or Machine Learning.

Nice To Haves

• Experience prototyping algorithms using MATLAB or Python.
• Full stack hands-on experience with data and backend infrastructure, front-end, and user interface for algorithms.
• Familiarity with Linear and Nonlinear Optimization techniques, CUDA/GPU Programming frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow), and Data Analysis and Visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of innovative research in Conventional or Machine Learning algorithms.
• Hands-on experience solving computer vision challenges.
