Ivy Academy is seeking a High School Alg. II Tutor to support students in strengthening their algebra II skills & building academic confidence. The ideal candidate enjoys working & adolescents, can explain concepts clearly, is experienced in teaching algebra II, & aligns with Ivy Academy’s commitment to academic excellence & student growth.

Requirements

• Must be proficient in Algebra II
• Ability to explain Alg. II concepts in a clear & supportive way
• Reliable, punctual, & organized
• Must pass required background checks

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with high school students preferred (tutoring, teaching, or academic support)

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in high school–level Algebra II
• Reinforce classroom instruction and help students master core concepts
• Support students with homework, test preparation, and skill development
• Maintain a positive, patient, and professional learning environment
• Communicate student progress with supervisors as requested
• Adhere to Ivy Academy’s policies and expectations
