About The Position
The City of Alexandria's Police Department is seeking applicants for the position of Police Officer I, with a direct assignment to the Motors unit. This role is crucial for making a direct impact in the community by ensuring safe streets and promoting traffic safety. All applicants will be hired as Police Officers and must be able to perform all Police Officer duties, regardless of departmental assignment. Special consideration will be given for direct assignment to the Motors unit upon successful completion of all requirements and the full FTO training program.
